(hereafter referred to as UEa)

1 About donations

UEa currently serves as the temporary fundraising organisation for the United Earth initiative, with three specific purposes:

  1. securing the domain name united.earth for the initiative’s long-term use;

  2. acquiring the intellectual property rights (IPR) to the website design and content developed by the initiative’s facilitator;

  3. establishing the United Earth Foundation in Norway.

    Donations made through AGORA support the purposes described on the relevant donation page.

    Donations are voluntary contributions. They are not payments for goods, services or membership, and no goods or services are provided in return.

    2 Donation amounts and currencies

    Donors may choose their preferred currency from the available options and enter their own donation amount. Any amount displayed initially is a suggestion and can be changed.

    The amount and currency confirmed at checkout determine the payment. Payments are securely processed through Vipps or WooPayments. Your bank or card provider may apply its own currency conversion rates or fees.

    3 Refunds

    Donations are voluntary and final once completed. They are non-refundable, except in cases of payment errors or where a refund is required by applicable law.

    A subsequent change of opinion about United Earth, its activities, objectives or development does not entitle a donor to a refund.

    UEa may consider refund requests involving demonstrable payment errors, such as duplicate charges or an incorrectly entered amount or currency. Such requests should be submitted as soon as possible after the payment. Any discretionary refund is subject to verification and approval by UEa.

    Approved refunds will normally be returned through the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider and bank.

    Nothing in these terms limits any rights that cannot legally be excluded, including rights concerning unauthorised transactions and payment disputes.

    4 Personal information

    Personal information provided during the donation process is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation.

    Participation in the United Earth initiative is a right and must remain free. Building AGORA and the organisation, however, requires financial support.

    Donations of any size are welcome, whether or not you have claimed your symbolic Earth Citizenship.
